▌ Attention!

  • This resin is not recommended for novice users. Please download the manual before use.
  • When failed printing with RESIONE setting probably needs to change the supports settings(See more details in RESIONE instruction) or increase the normal exposure time(Printers especially mono screen will have light decay).
  • Flexible prints are easily deformed during printing, so they need thicker and denser supports.
  • If the ambient temperature is lower than 25℃, please preheat the resin liquid before printing.
  • For F80 prints with a thickness of more than 3mm, both the front and back sides need to be cured for more than 10 minutes when a post-curing box with 40W UV intensity is used. Fully post-cured prints are stronger, have a dry surface and are less likely to be scratched.
  • If the resin is not used in the 3D printer for more than 1 day, it is recommended to filter the resin with a filter funnel and pour it into an empty container. Do not pour the resin in the resin tank back to the original bottle to avoid contamination of other resins.

F80 is a soft and elastic resin, you can choose between black and pink colors for your printing needs. The pink option is particularly well-suited for creating dental gingival models, while the black option is suitable for making toy tires, shoe samples, seals, buffers, and various elastic prototypes. F80 resin can retain its softness even in colder temperatures. It is not recommended for novice users due to its high viscosity, which can pose a printing challenge.

Descriptions

  • Soft touch

F80 resin prints have a Shore hardness of 50-60A, soft to the touch, full of elasticity. Pink F80 resin is perfect for making dental gingival models

  • Good resilience

F80 resin prints have good resilience, and they can quickly recover their shape after deformation.

  • Low temperature resistance

Even in the cold winter below 10°C, F80 prints still remain soft, although their elasticity will decrease as the temperature decreases.

  • Broad adaptability

F80 resin is suitable for all mainstream LCD/MSLA/DLP 3d printers on the market, including RGB or Mono screen printers.

      ▌ The difference between F39, F69, F39T and F80

      • Color:F39 is white, F69 is black, F39T is transparent,F80 is black/gum color
      • Elasticity: F80 > F39 = F69 = F39T
      • Tear strength and Hardness: F80<F39 = F69 = F39T
      • F80 prints can remain soft at low temperatures, others will become hard

      Not entirely as expected

I saw a couple of review videos about F80 (black) before buying it.
Following the recommendation to use big supports already the first print turned out well. The mechanical properties of the print however differed from the ones I saw in the reviews. The material is quite a bit stiffer than expected. The flexibility depends much less on temperature compared to F39, which is good. But the resistance against stretching tension disappointed me a bit. This is NOT like rubber. The part broke very soon as it was exposed to stretch tension. (Ambient temperature at about 30°C) It was cured well after printing. I intended to use it for parts for vibration dampening suspension, which I do not dare to do now after my tests. The resin has nice other properties and is well suited for a lot applications like shock protection and such. But do not expect to use it as a replacement for rubber like materials when stretch resitance is a major requirement. Deforming stress resistance however seems to be quite good. The part returns very fast to it's original shape. I was not able to break the testpart by deforming it.
