Based on the medium gray version of TH72 resin, we have introduced two new colors: matte gray and white. These new colors of TH72 are easier to clean than the medium gray version, do not have a shiny, reflective, or sticky surface, and have a matte finish. They are also more resistant to yellowing. Additionally, their other properties are the same as the medium gray version.

TH72 is a long-term tough resin, so you don't have to be careful when you play with prints, and it  will not be easily damaged during long distance transportation. It is an ideal material for printing hair, capes, swords, etc., as well as static figures and models with hollow interiors, it can also be used as a toughening agent for other resins.

▌ Attention

  • The model with thin and less support was successfully printed with resins with good rigidity (such as standard resin, rigid resin, ABS resin, etc.), but it might will failed to print with TH72 resin instead. It's recommended when printing with TH72 resin after the following treatment: a) Add more supports at the island of the model; b) The higher the supports, the larger the middle diamete; c) The heavier the model, the thicker the supports.

  • The resin prints will be fragile after post-curing. It is not recommended to apply force to the prints immediately. Just need to wait for a while until the internal stress of the prints is completely released.

    Descriptions

    • The prints are not easily damaged
TH72 prints can withstand accidental accidental drops, and it will not be easily damaged during long distance transportation. You can significantly bend or even fold prints with a wall thickness of less than 3mm. It is ideal for printing durable figurines and miniatures.
    • Long-lasting toughness
TH72 prints will not become brittle over time. After a long time of outdoor environment test in subtropical summer (dozens of days of sunshine and rainy weather) and 8-hour high temperature drying at 50-60 ℃, the prints still maintain toughness and strength, the weather resistance is good.
    • Hollowed out prints will not crack
Models that have been "hollowed out" usually develop surface cracks over time because their interiors cannot be completely cleaned and post-cured. However, TH72 rarely exhibits this issue, allowing you to save more material.
    • Very low water absorption

With a water absorption rate (48hr) of 0.6%, TH72 performs exceptionally well among 3D printer resins. This ensures that prints do not soften due to increased air humidity or crack from long-term moisture absorption. The prints can be used in short-term underwater operations and outdoor scenarios.

    • As a toughening agent for other resins

Tests have shown that adding TH72 to rigid/standard resins significantly increases their toughness when TH72 constitutes 40% of the mixed resin, while maintaining sufficient strength.

        Good for the price

I am a professional, I have already used large quantities of this resin, to print from the smallest wargame figurine to the largest scale collection.

        The positive points:
        - The low price, especially with the possibility of taking in large quantities to save money.
        - The mechanical properties, rather adapted to thicknesses greater than 1.5mm.
        - Can be used as a cheap medium to soften classic hard resins

        The negatives:
        - It is not very aesthetic because it is shiny, especially on the faces on the printing platform. I add a little black pigment.
        - It remains slightly sticky even after passing to UV.
        - Personally I need to heat the platform and the resin to have a suitable adhesion on the first layers.
        - It is not that flexible, after drying, passing to UV and a few days later, you will not be able to bend the resin as much as the image of the knight's lance without risk of breaking.

        Quality resins

I have tried cheap resins which are smelly and hard to get good results with, But with Resione it is quality all the way from purchase to printed results. Get your settings in place and you will get quality prints!

        Very good

This resin is insane—it's flexible, doesn’t react badly to spray primer, and the paint doesn't crack even on models I printed and painted about a year ago. One thing to note is that it can be a bit too soft for some figures; if they need to bear weight, they might bend and deform. I remembered seeing a post on their social media about mixing it with K black, and the results in the video were impressive. I decided to give it a try, and it turned out perfect.

        Fees at checkout

It is the first time that after completing the purchase the price is increased with special rates. In previous purchases it has not happened to me. The price of the product has increased a lot and it is very possible that you will no longer be a customer.

        Excellent for miniatures

Used it a year ago on some 8-15mm models with some fragile parts and still going strong, despite not being painted (yet . . . honest, I will get round to it :0!). The detail is very good for 0.050mm but I'm wondering if Resione do something similar that can lose the layer lines down at 0.030mm. About to ask them!
